This month we had 32 swimmers compete in the SMNE (Sydney Metro North East) Winter Championships. The championships were held at Sydney Olympic Park Aquatic Centre on the weekend of the 3rd and 4th of June.
We are excited to announce that Penelope Currie placed 2nd in the 50m freestyle 11 years old heat. A fantastic effort by Penelope!
A special mention to the following swimmers who placed 4th:
- Elizabeth Fainga’anuku – 100m Freestyles 12 years old girls.
- Alexandra Bova – 50m Backstroke 11 years old girls.

Now the team is back in the water preparing for the next competition. We cannot wait to see what they achieve next!
