In recognition of World Drowning Prevention Day on Thursday 25th July, we’re proud to reflect on the ways our team at Mosman Swim Centre continues to promote safety and awareness both in and beyond the pool.
Earlier this year, our team visited Jack and Jill Kindergarten to deliver an engaging and educational water safety session. Led by our instructor Tori, the visit focused on helping children understand the importance of being safe around water and the vital role swim instructors play in preventing drownings.
The children were enthusiastic and attentive, and it was a pleasure to see how engaged they were in learning these lifesaving messages. A big thank you to the team at Jack and Jill for welcoming us, and to the children for their wonderful participation.
As we mark World Drowning Prevention Day, we are reminded that water safety education starts early and it’s a shared effort. We’re proud to continue supporting our community through outreach, education, and consistent safety practices at the pool.
