Mini-Squads
Emphasis in the mini–squad levels is on stroke development and technique as children familiarise themselves with squad sessions. Sessions are 30 minutes and generally include.

- Personal safety in all aquatic environments.

Junior Squads
These squads are perfect for students who want to develop their technique, endurance and fitness levels. There is a three-tier progression through Junior Squads, before swimmers enter the Teen Health & Fit Program.

- Junior Target – 45 minutes in duration. Swimmers are encouraged to swim twice per week.
- Target – 60 minutes in duration. Swimmers are encouraged to swim three times per week.
- Performance – 75 minutes in duration. Swimmers are encouraged to swim four times per week.
Competitive Squads
Competitive Squads are invitation only squads, and have a very specific training schedule which is focused on elite racing. Students who participate in these squads, are required to be members of the Ezyswim Swimming Club and participate in local and regional meets as well as Ezyswim Race Nights. Currently, there is a two-tier progression.
- Junior Development Squad – 60 minutes in duration. Swimmers will be 7-9 years of age and must attend the three scheduled training sessions per week.
- Bronze Transition Squad – 90 minutes in duration. Swimmers will be 10-12 years of age and must attend the four scheduled training sessions per week.

We have Teen and Adult Squads to suit a variety of needs and requirements. Whether you are looking for high intensive fitness training, or general low-impact exercise, we have a solution for you.

Adult Squads
Surf & Tri Squad
This squad is designed for swimmers 16 years and above who have a high level of fitness. Swimmers will have good technique that they can maintain with serious speed and time-cycle training. Swimmers are required to hold 10 x 100 Freestyle on the 1.45 time-cycle at a minimum. Swimmers in this group may find themselves holding 100’s on a 1.15 time-cycle.
Health & Fit Squads
The early morning Health & Fit Squad is designed for swimmers 16 years and above who are looking to build on their fitness levels while maintaining good technique. Swimmers are required to hold 10 x 100 Freestyle on the 1.45 time-cycle.
The late morning, weekend and evening Health & Fit Squads are designed for swimmers 16 years and above who are looking for a more relaxed approach. Swimmers will get the chance to build fitness, work on technique and apply it to some time-cycle training. Swimmers are required to hold 10 x 100 Freestyle on the 2.30 time-cycle.
Teen Squads
Teen Health & Fit Squad
The Teen Squad is designed for swimmers 13 years and above. This squad caters for swimmers who are after a more relaxed, non-competitive approach to their swimming. Swimmers will have the opportunity to work on their fitness and technique and are required to hold a time-cycle of 10 x 100 on 2.30.
