We were lucky enough to have 5 swimmers compete in the SMNE (Swimming Metro North East) Team for the Speedo Sprint Final.
The Speedo Sprint Final was held on Saturday 4th March at the Sydney Olympic Park Aquatic Centre. The entire competition had a total of 12 teams representing different areas throughout the state.
The five swimmers who competed from the Mosman Swim Club were:
- Grace Grigg
- Nick Byrne
- Elizabeth Fainga’anuku
- James MCdonough Smith
- Aurelia Stewart
A special mention for Aurelia Stewart who placed 4th in the Girls 8 yr old 50m Backstroke event.
We are also excited to announce that we had one swimmer qualify for the Senior Metropolitan Championships. Sally Fainga’anuku has qualified for a total of four events – 50m Freestyle, 100m Breaststroke, 100m Freestyle, 100m Butterfly.
