This month we were faced with the challenge of the Metropolitan Championships!
The following are a few special highlight results from the championships:
- Sally Fainga’anuku break 30 sec on 50 Butterfly Open 29.95 coming 21th Overall
- Elizabeth Fainga’anuku 6 sec PB on 100 Butterfly to 1.12.83 coming 11th 12 years Old
In addition to this we’d like to congratulate all 32 swimmers who were recently announced on the 2022/23 JX list for the Australian Junior Excellence Program.
‘Swimming Australia’s Junior Excellence (JX) program recognises the performances of swimmers aged 9 – 13 to encourage and inspire the next generation of competitive swimmers’, states the Swim Aus website.
